About Chris Firat Training
Chris Firat MICM has more than 25 years experience in the consumer finance industry.
For the majority of her career, she worked as a debt collector, operating on a commission only basis, collecting on mortgages, personal loans, hire purchase accounts, credit cards, overdrafts, catalogue debts and council tax arrears.
She is now Director of Training at CFT, and provides tailored collection courses to a variety of lenders, third party processors, solicitors and debt collection agencies. She is a regular trainer for the Consumer Credit Trade Association, is on the Tutorial Panel for the Diploma Course for the Debt Collecting Industry, run by the CSA and City and Guilds, and is a Member of the Institute of Credit Management.
Claire Rogers has worked in the debt collection industry for more than 10 years as a collector, Campaign Manager and CIPD qualified Trainer.
Directly prior to joining CFT in August 2007, Claire enjoyed a successful career at leading debt collection agency, Robinson Way & Company Limited, and has written and delivered a range of successful training courses associated with the key issues of debt collection. These include gradated learning modules relating to Legislative Awareness, Negotiation, Objection Handling, and Improving Individual Collection Performance.
Working in project and campaign management has given Claire an in-depth knowledge of the different aspects of successful debt collection, including lettering, process flows, power diallers and the imperative need for well trained operatives.
As a Training Manager with CFT, Claire is responsible for the development of proprietary training material, the delivery of courses nationwide and the development of new and existing client relationships throughout the UK.
